Also in careers as not sure where to put this, sorry...

Hi,
I've been implementing some of Mary Wanless' ideas into my teaching for a few years and must say they work wonders with many riders. I am wondering about attending one of her Teacher Training courses but seeing they are mega expensive I thought I would ask you all if you or anyone you know has done it?

Thanks!

A group of HHO'ers did a MW clinic a few years ago and we really enjoyed it - it's a very focused concept and I found it invaluable - I'd love to take H back there (maybe now she's sound I will be able to sort something out) I'd definitely think that the training would be good - I know Weezy was looking into it at then but I don't know if she did it or not?
Good luck if you go though - it's a lovely arena in a beautiful setting!

While I find her books inspirational, because she teaches you to look at things in a different way, on a personal level I found it very harm to warm to her. She is very 'single track' and quite dismissive of anything that doesn't fit in with her ideas.

I have never had a lesson with her but she does seem slightly grouchy- I go to her yard sometimes (lovely school)

One of my old instructors has done it. She is a beautiful rider anyway but has become very into MW. Her name is Karen Whiston maybe worth a call to find out more? She can be found on BHS website.
