Massage Therapists- Who uses them?

Hi guys

Just wondering how many of you use equine massage therpists?

I've just started doing a foundtion course in it and would like to go all the way through to the Master's course and then go out and do treatments in my area. But not sure how much call there is for it. There's no manipulation in there so it wouldn't be like a phsyio treatment just purely assessment and massage.

Any relpies would be brilliant!!

Hello hello!!! I use a lovely lady who is sports massage herapist, and I use it in conjunction with a chiropractor so I have the best of both worlds. They compliment each other and Pony really loves the massage!!!

No, I wouldn't personally. I would use a fully qualified and registered physiotherapist if I thought it would be a good idea and had my vet's permission, but otherwise I am pretty dubious about all the numerous 'back people' and their qualifications I'm afraid
