Massive day for me today!!! First time Hunter Trialing in 15 yrs

Oh god, hopefully you didn't see my pairs round lol... The skinny by the open fence caused me massive probs ... My horse thought the deer cutouts were going to eat him and just wouldn't look at the fence we were meant to be jumping .... So on the 5th have to get over it no matter what it takes!
i was there on sat and noticed you- lovely horse. was a great day and cracking course and weather.

i'm heading to anna harvey too on the 6th, we are staying the night before and after to make a weekend of it. a hho meet up would be deadly!

Thank you! am over the moon, think ive really turned a corner now! have decided now to do a spot of showjumping next wk, just 70's and then the three wks after that have planned to go to a further four hunter trials:)QUOTE=Angus' yard;12063453]Well done you. Brilliant, you have every right to be very proud of yourself.[/QUOTE]

Well done to you both, I know how hard it is to get on with the job when you are a bag of nerves. I have bitten the bullet and put me and my big lad forward for a x-coutry clinic in 2 weeks and he has never jumped a x-coutry fence and I am ok on show jumps up to about 65cms then I go to bits, If we do as well as you have done I will be happy.
You both completed the course and you went back for more......
Big pat on the back for you both :O)

You hit the nail on the head, even after my pairs performance should have put me off i just went gung ho in the singles and kicked on..... Also helped he was super keen and knew what was coming ... 40 second countddown felt like an hour, we were both buzzing to get going lol...

Well done! There is nothing quite like the feeling of facing your biggest fear and succeeding. Im so jealous of your bravery, keep it up xx

Bravery lol? I was terrified during pairs, it all went wrong ! Had a stern word with myself, there was NOTHING to lose by going round again and i will admit when i got through the finish line i was punching the air, i really just bloody kicked on lol and think it is now the successfull road ahead for me with both horses.
