Massive head/desk moment....

Rather than try her hardest to fix the problem she's just gonna get rid of the dog? :(
Surely she can sort the fence or walk her more or pay someone to walk the dog?
Although sounds like the dog would be better off with a better owner. Hopefully she finds a good home.

Drop the dog after 1 month?

Who in their right mind told this woman that any, let alone this dog would be ok on 20 mins exercise 2x a day,,, probably got it off gumtree

The same thing happened with my dog Millie. We rehomed her at 6 months old. The previous owner had got her at 8 weeks, had her one week and dumped her at the rescue, because they said she bites and she's not socialised with cats!! Like they are born socialised and fully trained!!

They're not? well blow me down with a feather!

I am sure you all remember the lovely Sandy (Candy) and her rescue from Chavs in a flat - they had her a week before she was back on preloved - they had already got a young staffie to replace her - it makes my blood boil when you see this sort of thing - the rescue should also be held to account for rehoming the dog to a clearly unsuitable home.

Cannot believe that anybody is stupid enough to think that 20 mins twice a day is enough for any dog :( That poor dog, makes me cry, she looks lovely.

just read your link and the stoopid woman said
quote `` she just frets so badly when she is in the pen all day``

why has she got dogs?

I know! 12 hours in her pen and 20 minutes walk twice a day....why bother? although if you read on she comes up with an answer to everything, tried a tether, tried a behaviourist, walks 3 miles to horses twice a week (I thought horses needed more attention than twice a week too!) but basically she got a dog with no thought for the dog or what she could offer it.

I can't say too much on there because it's not a forum for passing comment but it's so against what I think adopting a rescue dog is all about it makes me really quite cross!
