After Rossi's accident in the field yesterday which left him with a very sore chops (bruising and a large cut inbetween his lower front teeth and incisor) I called my dentist Shaun Carroll who was due to come out at some point this month anyway.

I have alway reccomended him but now I think he is a star. He came out as a matter of urgency and managed my 18hh horse who is difficult at the best of times very well. He did his teeth as normal routine and then flushed out the wound and told me the depth of his injury (pretty good deep cut right near his incisor) which he said loks like he may have got it caught on some electric fencing that is not active in his paddock  and pulled back which does admittedly sound like something dipstick would have done.

He told me to avoid the vet unless it swells and he cant eat (obviously :) )

He's probably saved me a fortune as I was on the verge of calling the vet tbh.

Great dentist who is very good with horses, very knowlegeable and very good at his job!

Bit pointless and you will probably think errr...i dont care ;) but I appreciate honest and reliable contacts in the horse world and am feeling relieved.

Thai chicken noodles and a sugar free energy drink for all....I just had it for lunch...it was yum.

Any professional who helps with your horse, and is available in your time of need is an absolute legend in my book!
Well done your dentist!
