does it have a bit that goes between the front legs, need a rug that covers as much as possible for the best price - any suggestions please.

Yes mine does, there is a bit that goes between the legs and clips on to the belly band
Mine is the XS one, may be worth unravelling one in the shop to check all sizes have that!
I like it - for a budget sweet itch rug it's worth the money
It took me about half an hour to get all the straps right but after the initial faffing about it does get much easier to put it on the pony although it looks quite complicated!

thanks for the reply, I would have looked, but our local tack shops don't stock them, so would just have to order one, I didn't think they had but a friend said she thought they did, so thought they were a possible.

My friend has one for her 16hh mare (not sure what rug size she takes) and it had the bit through the front legs. Sticks in my mind as id never taken her sweet itch rug off before and tried to take it off without undoing that strap lol
