I need a anti-rub vest for under all of Baileys rugs, as shes such a bizarre shape nothing seems to not rub her.
Im going to get her two, one for stable and one for turnout. So I was looking at the full shoulder, neck and face options as they would keep her cleaner.
So I know there are snuggy hoods suitable for stable and turn-out but they are so expensive!
Does anybody know if the masta lycra head and neck cover is suitable for turn out? As in water repellent? Or is it just suitable for in the stable? In which case I will have to get it for the stable and shell out for a snuggy hood turn-out one. Many thanks for any help! (:

I would only ever use the snuggy hoods, have seen awful accidents and eye injurys through the lycra type, they move over the face/eyes.

Def worth the extra money.

get the snuggy hoods!
I have used a full face lycra hood that sliped back over his ears and pulled tight across his nose. It had ruffled the hair slightly but didnt think much more of it untill now he has two white patches on his nose.
it had obviously killed the hair follicles so now its grown back white. havnt used it since.

I personally would not use it at all. Years ago when they were 1st around I put one on a TB mare, it slipped over its eye and it was all weepy and sore. I felt so guilty I threw it away.
