Has anyone here ever purchased or are currently using these clippers, need to buy a pair and the LIster and Wolesley ones are so expensive. The replacement blades for Masterclip are £15 a set does this mean they can't be sharpened? Any advice before I part with my hard earned cash will be appreciated, we will only be clipping two horses not a yard full!

I have had mine for 5 years never been services I user heinger (sp?) blades on mine and they can be sharpened no probs, mine are loud but they are an old version. I really rate mine!

Also the last 4 years use was all year round on a fully clipped cob so they've seen a fair bit of use

I bought some recently based on all the good reviews here and elsewhere. They are my first clippers so can't compare to any others, but I found them really easy to use - can't believe I have been paying other people all these years to do something I thought was really hard! The after sales service is good as well. I had a couple of numpty questions and they responded very quickly with lots of helpful tips.

These are the ones I got: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Heavy-Dut...t=UK_Horse_Wear_Equipment&hash=item19cf485bb4

Hope that helps. :)

I have some and the trimmers they make. Can't complain about either both have worked relitavley hard this winter and are still fine. I think I got about 7 clips out of my mediums that they came with mainly on thick coated natives and my trimmers did all the fiddly bits and a neck and belly on a friends tb. They also have fab customer service as some one else mentioned :)
