I am hoping that someone might be able to help me! Have just bought some Masterclip Ranger clippers, clipped three quarters of my boy last weekend then suddenly found that rather than cutting the hair the blades were just going through his coat and sometimes pulling it. I changed the blades incase they had gone blunt but no change, adjusted the tension but still no change so in the end i left him unfinished as he was getting fed up by this time.
Went away and read through book although not a lot of info in it. Rang Masterclip to try and get some advice re tensioning them but wasnt much help. Found a video on line which said to try raising or lowering the large blade which I have done today, again also adjusting the tension but all without success! Please please can anyone suggest anything that might help before i end up sending them back as being faulty? Its such a shame as to start with they clipped beautifully and I was delighted with them but got one boy not quite clipped so looking a mess and the other one desperately in need of a bib clip and can do neither. My two have got long and thick coats but the Rangers were recommended by Masterclip so should be ok in theory!!
If anyone can help i would be most grateful
Many thanks
