As per title, I wanted to buy a set of heavy duty cordless clippers and saw these advertised at a good price.

I have seen a few reviews and most are positive, the main "bad" thing seems to be that they are not the quietest clipper, but since I currently use a rather noisy and ancient pair of Hauptner Rapides that is not a worry to me or the horse.

Anyone ??

For cheaper clippers, I would say MC come highly recommended, personally I wouldn't want to use them for more than a couple of horses as they're heavy and noisy as you say, but good value for money IMO

I recommend them but my on/off switch failed after a year and when the OH took them to pieces it was a very poor design inside. I now switch mine off by removing the battery. It's no big deal, and they are very cheap for what they are.

I have the Masterclip Roamers and love them. The reviews are correct, they are not the quietest on the market but for me the pros definitely outweigh the cons.

YCBM Masterclip clippers come with a 2 year guarantee and would have been repaired or replaced if they had been returned. Their customer service is excellent.

thanks everyone, i only clip one horse about 3-4 times each winter so i think they should do just fine by the sounds of it !

now to go buy them without OH noticing :-) LOL

I have a set of Masterclip Hunter's, love them!

I had some older ones that someone ruined by leaving in a conservatory with their wet dogs for several weeks and rusted them up, but they were 3 years old and still going strong. Used every year 6-7 times for full clips etc.
