I'm having to admit defeat and clip my cob. She's only ridden a couple of times a week but already is getting very sweaty and her hair is starting to catch in the girth.

I was going to pay to get someone to do it but at £40 a go for a bib clip and at least 2 more likely 3 this winter I'm wondering if I should just buy my own.

I've previously had the master clip ranger and they were fab for my old cobs thick coat but they were quite heavy and cumbersome and great for larger areas but not the more intricate areas.

I spotted the v series which look good but I wondered how well they core with thicker coats?

Wouldn't be needing to do full clips just bib clips and tidy feathers.

I've got the HD Roamer ones. They are cordless and i find them easy to use, although they arent the lightest. They come with trimmers. I use those for feather tidy ups and faces etc, and the big clippers for everything else.
