Anyone got any views on Mastits? My mare was diagnosed today.. huge swellig around her teet and some pretty nasty stuff coming out. She is an ex brood mare and is not in foal now.
What did people do to speed up the recovery if they have experienced it.
Vet has been taken blood and sample of the milk and is coming back tomorrow. She has had anti biotics, anti inflams and pain killers.
Shes been pretty flat to ride lately could this of been building up for a while?
Any thoughts please?
