Frodo Beutlin has been visiting for a few days and she came and did a photo shoot of my dressage horse Oskar. Bless her, she also brought me a gorgeous pair of new Pikeur breeches - love the colour - and a new girth for the very sensitive skinned Oskar.
I did a brief session in the school; had a bit of a sore tummy so didn't really pick him up much, but he stayed nice and soft and showed himself off. Then we took up out to the fields and showed that a dressage horse can also have fun! Jumped some logs and baby xc fences, all dolled up in double bridle, bandages and dressage saddle LOL! Bless him, he loves to jump, doesn't get to do it much, but look at his happy face!
I know he's a bit long in the frame in the ridden pictures but he was only really in warm up mode and I didn't ask for collection much. Also, he is slightly porky as living out at the moment and the grass is really coming through.
Showing off his rather nice walk:
trot half pass:
shoulder in:
off we go!
yes we can jump (sort of!)
but we are a bit dangly:
Done for the day
