Hi all,

I'm 19 weeks pregnant and still riding. My jods are just about getting too tight now and there aren't any maternity jods. What do you all do for those that have still ridden or even just for mucking out in as I know I get filthy! I don't want to spend a lot on getting different sizes only to need them for a short while.

Also was wondering if there were such a thing as maternity jodhpurs in the UK would you buy them? Bored at work and thinking about being creative here lol.

Thanks 😊

I had a stretchy pair of equetech cotton pull on jodhs in a bigger than usual size that lasted me until 30 weeks when I stopped riding, and also wore them afterwards....

They were about £30 ish...

I would have bought them and did indeed google them when I was pregnant.
I was too cheap to buy anything expensive but I got 2 pairs of asda jogging trousers - the really cheap nasty plain black ones in a size or 2 bigger than usual to keep me happy for riding and mucking out. They had a wide waistband and a draw string so there was plenty of adjustment. I think they were £5 or £6 a pair - I rode in them until 34 weeks (with twins) and continued mucking out after that in them.
I now have them as my "decorating" trousers or for any other jobs where my clothes may get absolutely destroyed!

They sell maternity jods on Eqlusive. You have to buy the jod and then they will adapt them with a bump band.

I've got a pair of Noble Outfitters riding tights, I'm pretty sure they will work well as maternity jods too as they are super stretchy.

My friend uses the cheap (7.99, I think) jodhs that Aldi sells occasionally, in a larger size than she usually wears and finds them quite comfy. I guess you'd have to be lucky to catch them on sale though.
