Had dressage on Saturday, he hasn't been out since April so I lunged him for 10 mins, not that we needed to as he was very chilled! Anyway, he warmed up like a star and went in and did a very relaxed test and gained 28.5 , first sub 30 mark so very pleased! Walked the xc course and seemed pretty straight forward.
Went back for 9am showjumping on Saturday and jumped everything far to big in the warm up. Course was pretty spooky and he jumped everything like it was lined with fire breathing dragons whioch resulted in a not very pretty clear round! But still clear. Pleased as it seemed to cause lots of problems.
On to the xc, he was good until he got to the water, bold as brass but he ran passed the fence coming out which is so un like him, so very dissapointed as he would have won! Turns out, from looking at the photos, that this is where he lost his front shoe so I imagine it put him off hence the run out. So pleased and gutted at the same time!

what a shame about the water but well done for the rest - still a good result

Gutter about the water jump

but that's good news it was a one off. I'm sure the next one will be victorious!

Excellent dressage score!

You and P must have been dead chuffed, especially as you sadi he'd not been out to play for a while

Huge shame about the XC, when's your next outing? will have fingers crossed for your next outing,

Brilliant dressage! And clear SJ, such a pity about that one blip on the XC but at least you know he had a valid reason so wasn't anyone's fault. The 'I would have' placings are almost as good as the actual placings though so well done on your (would have) win!

Wow i can only dream of getting a dressage mark like that! Well done, shame about the XC, sure next time all will be fine!
Well done
