Just heard from Tigers Eye who is doing very well at Mattingley today that, ground is brilliant, the best EVER!!

So thats good news, and not an ounce of mud anywhere.

I'm 15 mins away and even took the cripple for a good gallop yesterday the ground was so perfect

Not sure how mate got on as supposedly he was going to withdraw but yet nothing on BDWP. Hopefully if he did run, he had a better time than last week
 
Ferds was great. Improved dressage 39.1, still just a bit tense sometimes and they're still playing around with the bitting as he is such a leaner. Still felt the score was perhaps a little harsh...

Two down showjumping. Was jumping out of his skin around most the course, but just got it slightly wrong coming into related distance of uprights and just tipped them with his toes.

Then cross country he was great, all the straight routes, not a moment of hesitation anywhere! 3 time penalties, but that was fast for this course, and he hadn't been pushed at all, barely a sweat on him when he got back to the lorry!

Sounds a very good day. F obviously enjoyed the xc as like you say, timeis hard to get there.

You at pontispool next week??
