Had a very late start with times of 1602, 1720 and 1758, which seemed rather odd! When we pulled up in the car park though we suddenly had a major drama on our hands: one of the bloody yard cats was in my lorry! It was yelling its head off and understandably panicked, and as the ramp came down it escaped
. So there followed 10 mins of me and a neighbouring competitor trying to lure it from under my lorry (luckily it didn't high tail it across to the dressage arenas or anything!). We caught it eventually and decided to throw it in the cab, having extracted the dog first. At the end of the day we managed to get it out the cab again and into the horse area where I think it probably terrorised Liberty all the way home, and he looked very relieved when we dropped the ramp at the yard and recognised where he was!

.... did a pretty nice test which the judge liked
, got a 33.3. Then jumped a clear sj despite my best efforts to go round it like it was the grand national
, and then he romped round the xc taking all the direct routes and coming a long way inside the time to finish 3rd and win us two very nice champagne flutes! And when we got home I had a text from the stud saying they think Deco's going to foal within the next 24 hrs
.... so I'm just having some food and keeping an eye on my phone. I will advertise Liberty this week, but if he doesn't go I shan't be too disappointed as I am quite looking forward to having a go at a novice with him now
