Mattingley Pre Novice

Any comments/experiences re Mattingley PN appreciated. Anything particularly tricky for a PN? Not sure whether to do the PN or the Intro, my horse really likes something to jump but don't want to lose my confidence.

Was in for South of England PN but have had to withdraw, still going to watch though.

Mattingley is a lovely event, very friendly and lovely atmosphere. I went to Little Mattingley last year for the PN and it was a lovely course there is a fence made out of mushrooms that alot look at and I think there are 2 waters in Mattingley rather then just one in little mattingley.

There is also a corner with alternative, and drop with a tight ish turn down to a double I think well it is tight on a strong horse!!

Im going there, ive entered teh Pn on both

The mushroom fence at the pre novice in 2005 at Little Mattingely had loads of stops!
I dont know why,it looks like a pretty nondescript fence to me!
Bar that one fence I think the course rode well. Water jump is very dark though.

Mattingley is a great event, and super prizes.

I still dont know which to enter, Intro or PN - tbf on me and pony probably intro, but i know hes capable of jumping PN.... but will have to see.

All my horses ive ever had have looked at the Mushroom Fence for some reason.

Theres a lot to look at there, in that fences come up think and fast, i love it because you have everything, drops, water, corners and ditches all beautifully presented.

Shame about s of e!! i didnt get in so off to watch friends dressage test today and walk xc course 4 next time1! u doing nurstead??i am,nothing there thats spooky,just a few jumps up 2 height!!
went to matt last yr 2 watch and the PN looked ok 2 me then,but i wasnt eventing then! Prob best to have a nice clear intro if ur not sure??? i wud
