She got home about an hour ago. Vet said her red blood cell count is about half what it should be but she was getting stressed there. When we picked her up the nurse said it was the first time she had seen her tail wag. She is very tired and has to rest lots. She is not in the clear yet but every day further we go it's looking better. She is fast asleep on her favoutie couch, snoring gently. So a huge thankyou for all your vibes and good wishes with love from Matty and JanetX

Thats great news, what a relief for you - I am still sending the vibes as I've got heaps to spare

HUGE hugs to you and gentle hugs to Matty... and of course the obligatory ridgeback licks from Finner.

Heres to continued success in her recovery.

Matty especially appreciates RR licks and doggy vibes. We can't get her to eat anything yet but I think she is exhausted and very relieved to be home. Sage and Dexter are desperate to say hello but are keeping their distance. I think they know how ill she is. What made it worse was we were away the week before and this all happened the day we got back. I dread to think what would have happened if were away longer. Will keep you posted on her progress.

Bless her - it amazing how dogs know... or can 'hold on' ... a guy came into work the other day - they had been away for 2 weeks, their dog was very elderly and not well and they knew her time was nearly up... the darling dog waited for them to get home and literally within half hour was peacefully away with the fairies! She obviously wanted to say goodbye to her loving owners!! *sniff*

Matty will be just fine hun, Finner is defo sending her positie vibes, along with me and the rest of the family. x
