Sorry to say I'm very disappointed with mine. I bought them a few years ago to do my own horses rather than use the yard heavy duty lister laser clippers and I've had nothing but problems.

When I first got them there was a fault causing them to cut out all the time -Eddie Palin replaced the handset the second time I sent them back and this did seem better however they didn't seem to clip that well, it was as if the tensioning was wrong but being self-tensioning you can't adjust it. I couldn't get an even looking clip the way I can with the listers. The final straw was this winter when I got them out only to discover the battery wouldn't charge. I was so fed up I was ready to bin them but a friend offered to look at them as I didn't want to send them back again. He replaced the battery but a circuit board to the on/off switch was also faulty so he bypassed it and they do work now but have to be switched off by disconnecting the battery. I'm not happy using them like this so I'm only keeping them for use in a dire emergency.

The annoying thing was that I had really looked after them, kept them in the house etc and in all the time I've had them they've only done a maximum of 5 or 6 clips. I must say though that Eddie Palin were helpful each time I have phoned them and when I sent them back but now the guarantee had expired I really am not prepared to spend any more on them. In comparison my Lister Lasers have probably averaged 40- 50 clips a year for the last 8 years and only ever require routine servicing.

My advice would be look at some alternatives.

I didn't think they clipped that well, certainly no better than others I have used and not as well as my Listers. The rounded head sounded a good idea and worked quite well round the horse's elbows but when I bought them they were pretty expensive and in retrospect I'm not convinced they were worth it.
