Does anyone happen to know where I could get MAX brushing boots (other than on ebay)? It is a nightmare to look for on the internet (MAX being so common a term). Basically they are 3-strap brushing boots, fleece lined... and there's a logo saying MAX - with the "A" being larger than the other two letters.

Please help...

Max boots were designed and manufctured by Louise Woof who sold the woof wear brand in the nineties, they went on the market around 2000 (named after her stud Maximillian were I worked for a while). I've not seen them for sale for years, I don't think they were that succesful and went out of production, I reckon ebay is your best bet!

Sorry, I think Ebay is your only hope.

They have not been available in the shops for some years now.

As Whippety mentioned, they were produced by Louise Woof. Don't know how accurate this is, but I heard that as part of the contract for her selling "Woof", Louise Woof was not allowed to manufacture horse boots. The new owners of "Woof" allegedly took her to court, and that was the end of Max.

Just a shame no one else has brought out such a good product. My black ones are close to bin time, and the white fluffy ones are only produced on special occasions!

Oh no... they seem to be the ones that fit my horse best!!! As usual - she doesn't make it easy for me!

Thanks for all your help - at least, now I know why I can't find them anywhere!
