Does anyone feed this?

I just bought a tub and put it in two of the horses feed tonight and they won’t touch it. I was wondering if anyone else had the same issue and if so how did you overcome it?

I use it & never had a problem, even when pony became fussy.

I don’t understand why then, one of them can be fussy but the other is an actual pig and very greedy if given the opportunity and eats most things

My horse refused it point blank, they suggested syringing it in to his mouth but it was so messy I gave up

It is powdery & some do object to powdery things. My feeds are based on soaked sugarbeet, do you damp it?

Yes I dampened the feeds and mixed it in.

I thought about syringing it but like you said I just imagined a big mess.

I’ve left it in there stables in hope they pick at it and eventually just become accustomed to the taste

I think the MGH+ is supposed to be more palatable and is one I use. I have fed 1x tub of the other and didn’t have any issues but mine are on a lot of hard feed so probably wouldn’t notice.

Both feeds are gone this morning and I couldn’t see any evidence of it tipped on the floor, however doesn’t mean it wasn’t mixed up somewhere in their bedding they do seem to be eating it slowly and reluctantly this morning though so fingers crossed
