Maxavita - Pernamax?

Has anyone used these tablets? I have a companion pony which has been 'unsound' for over a year following a nasty incident getting a hind fetlock trapped in a fence with previous owner. The joint basically became an abcess and he's left with a 'fat' joint from just above the fetlock down to the coronary band. Mostly hard but there is some fluid swelling detectable. He's been fine (able to canter and hoolie with my horse) until recently. I think that it is becoming arthritic but I dont want to go down the bute route unless I have to.

I've been using them for 12 months on my 16 year old who's a bit stiff in his joints. I've now put him on a Senior feed balancer with glucosomine so took him off them about 10 days ago. Now it may be coincidence but he has been incredibly stiff over the last few days. Has difficulty getting up after rolling. I've ordered some more for him and will be really interested to see if he improves. A friend swears by it for their old jumping pony and other old horse. I will let you know if my horse improves as it will prove it is doing him good. It's not exactly cheap but if it makes my horse comfortable again it is well worth it.
