If you mean pernamax my horse is on it and it has made a ton of difference. She didn't like the flavour to start with though, and I have to grind the tablets up to a powder to hide them in her feed.

Where you using any other kind of supplement before switching? Im thinking of changing from NAF 5* but dont want to spend mega bucks to find no improvement....

I'm also using Mobifor which was prescribed by my vet under insurance. It is the same as Superflex (vet strength). I didn't notice as much improvement with Mobifor as I did with Pernamax, but I'm not taking her off anything as it's such a relief to have her sound.

And get the whole foot balance looked at too, that can cause real problems that aren't shown on x rays. If the toes are too long, or heels to low then caudal foot pain can be result.

It has been - Rosdales spent £5k of NFUs money looking for the problem but could find nothing, despite a miriad of traditional shoeing techniques under their supervision and scintigraphy. He is now shod in Cyteks so has "no" toe. This is the soundest he has ever been but Im sure he could be just that little bit more comfy...

My horse is taking maxavita at the moment and I think it is fantastic, the best supplement I've tried.

Nic, Pernamax Equine is distributed by maxavita so it's the same thing.
(Lyproflex Equine which used to be distributed by omninutra seems to have disappeared off the radar but as far as I can tell, it was the same product.)

My boy is on mobifor too, I have also been giving him NAF Apple Cider Vinegar which is supposed to help too. He is going really well at the moment and the additional bonus of using the ACV is that he has a beautiful shiny coat http://www.naf-uk.com/downloads/applevinegar.pdf.
