Do you know if they had a prefix - you can look them up on the Central Prefix Register and it will tell you which studbooks the prefix is registered with.

I don't think they do, it is more of a longshot my mare is only registered as shantia. I may have to try and trace the dam, to see if i can find out where and with whom she ended up.

Have you got the names of the dam, sire, dams sire & studbook she is registered with?
I would start there, and send a letter to the breeder via the studbook.

I have got the full geneaology for about 7 generations, her dam is Lasgrug Joan (breeder D. H. Owen)
During my search for information on her dam and sire, I have managed to piece together so much, but still the wherabouts of her sire (Pink Floyd) and her dam, photos of them, and what they have done elludes me.
On the plus side i have found out that she has some real tallent in her ancestry and i have a load of pictures of them.
Just want to see what mummy and daddy are like now!!!
