So jealous - would love to have a lesson from Mr Broome. Got a while before we can get that far - we haven't taken our four feet of the ground yet!!! Still working on that one!!

Well its a really wierd cut GP a gfs one and it was fitted to Danny and his 5'1 owner not me at 5'9ish so its completly useless and puts me in a dodgy postiton that doesnt help when he dirty stops

It was so good , and they cater to everyone from people nervous over 2ft to crazy people that jump 1.20

By the end of the fourth session i'd jumped the biggest course I had ever done eventhough I swore at the start of it they werent oing to make me overcome my 'oxer-phobia'

Bless you for posting, always good to read the reports - good and bad. I'm sorry i had to have a chuckle, why do horses always fail to impress at the time you really want to impress!!! I'm glad you had a good time despite 'Donkey's' misbehaviour!

I hosted a table for the Broome family at Petplan Horse Trials a good few years ago and they were all really friendly.

wow you lucky thing! how much was the lesson if you dont mind me asking?

had a little giggle at pics but know exactly how you feel my old pony was exactly the same! i have a dreadful picture of me falling off!

good on you for laughing about it and putting the falling off pics up...! its good to see that other people have a hard time sometimes too!

Well done though, I would have given up long before you!

He was absoloutely lovely and so were Matt and James , really down to earth and didn't care if I could jump 1ft or 5ft . Told me not to be scared , we have horses to enjoy them not to sit on top and look petrified '

My mate had lessons with David Broome and I tagged along as groom...she took 2 ponies...he was always so funny and charming. He really loves what he is doing and makes you feel like you are the only person he has time to teach-if that makes sense. He did refer constantly to one of her ponies as 'The evil little b*sta*d who is only here as it can bloody jump'
Advice to anyone if you can get a lesson with him go for it money well spent IMO.
Well done on your lesson you look fab!!!

I couldn't agree more . Its been a great experience , even though he had more people to see after me he still took the time to help woth Danny and let me try it agian

We've figured out why the donkey was being bad now after watching vids etc .... He doesn't like being told what to do !! (Just like the rider ) Everythime he stopped he was being told what to do ie putting him on the right stride and sorting distances etc.. . . .
But when left to do it himself technique went out the window but he jumped them !!
