I have got about 40 bales of this years meadow hay that was cut late and is not very good. It isn't mouldy or anything like that but my horse is not keen on it.
At the moment there is still enough grass in his paddock for him to pick at, so I guess he's not too bothered, plus he does get two small feeds a day. Do you think it is worth me hanging onto it and soaking it before use or should I try and sell it? I didn't pay much for it but would rather sell it on to a horse that will eat it than let it go to waste. He's always been a fussy eater!
