Measles

Avonmill Equestrian, they're a family operation that produce fantastic irish youngsters that generally turn out to be super all rounds. I think they have a website and there's certainly a facebook group. Although I've not met measles I follow them on facebook and am very impressed by the quality of what they produce.

Can't believe Measels has been banned? She has never been illlegal ever to my knowledge? She is always helpful and so knowledgeable.
Gosh that is a shock. I can't imagine why Measels has been banned?

Measles banned?! Eh? Reading through her previous posts I can't see why she's been banned at all, nothing sticks out, hopefully it's only a holiday rather than a permanent ban. I liked her contributions, knowledgeable, balanced and helpful.

Measles banned!! What has this place come to? I've never, ever seen a post of hers that could be considered remotely contentious....she's only ever been helpful & interesting!

She has probably been banned for advertising - she does promote her business in her posts a bit.

I honestly didn't think she did, she posted about competing etc, I've only ever seen others mention her business. She's occasionally given advice to those who have asked about buying and selling which I've always thought to be impartial.

Just spoke to her and it seems she was reported by someone for an innocuous comment she made on a post
You wonder why people can be bothered tbh, anyway measles has asked me to tell you shes waving from afar and will be back soon.

I agree, ive only known her posts to be helpful and impartial

Sodding button pushers! Sending a wave back her way!

Can't believe she's been banned! (Don't see dark names on a phone). She's given me some very helpful advice while I've been on here & I love seeing her updates on here & her fb page. I hope its just a holiday she's on not a permanent ban x

Some people need to get a life :( seems that button pushers look for the tiniest thing or opportunity. yes I have pressed the button before but its only been on first posts that are advertising/spam ones

Tsk agree I like measles posts. Look fwd to seeing her back on.

Button pushers annoy me. If you don't like a post don't read it. Can't see why anyone should act as self appointed forum police. I realise for v offensive posts there should be an exception but really how often are these things just about minor stuff

I agree with the majority here, Measles is a great forum member, and I've never noticed her promoting her own business; she's mentioned she's a dealer but only in the context of advising others  When I was looking for another horse, I contacted her and she could not have been more friendly or helpful; it was only that I found one very shortly after that I didn't get one from her.

I can only think there are some people on here who are jealous of others being popular and/or successful, and are bitter & twisted enough about it to report them.

This place is crazy! have had the privilege to meet Measles and her lovely family. Really enjoy reading her posts and seeing the lovely horses she has. Some people really need to get a life no wonder long term posters who happily give out excellent advice are no longer posting as much as they used to.

Thank you everyone for your kind words. It appears that someone misconstrued a post I made on a thread trying to help another forum member as advertising - which it genuinely wasn't as I am always careful not to contravene rules as many of you have commented.

I do appreciate the support and am always happy to support and advise where I can other forum members. We've all needed a few kind words at difficult times or suggestions when our horses choose to perplex us.
