Measuring Saddles

Dumb question, but where do you take the measurements for saddle size? I want to sell my XC saddle and can't remember whether it's a 17.5" or not... don't want to be breaking the trade descriptions act

Oh GB - you too are tall like me - what are you selling as am perhaps looking to buy a new one for new horse (if he isnt sold before I get my mits on him)
 
I'll stick a pic up later when I get home as there isn't one on this computer. It's a Black Country Monoflap XC saddle and it *may* be 17.5"...
 
Medium, stamped M on the stirrup bars. I've had it on everything from a 15.1hh flat-bred TB to a 17hh TB/Clydesdale.
 
It will be going on ebay at Christmas time unless I get a better offer. I love it but I have a lot of problems getting my (very long) leg position right when jumping and have concluded that it is just not forward cut enough for me.
