It's 10 years since I bought my horse from there so I thought I would look them up on the web to see how they are getting on. To my surprise there are rumours that they have closed down. I hope it isn't true as it was a lovely riding school with great facilities, does anyone know if they are still open or not? Thanks in advance.
 
Yes, i think they have, or at the least they have stopped lessons.

Apparently the owner was old (?) and could not manage it anymore. Yes, it is quite sad, even though i never actually rode there.
 
I used to work there - yes it has closed, now a livery yard.
I was told that it was insurance pricing them out, the owner was not that old?!?!
Which horse did you buy, would be really interesting to know as I worked there 10 years ago so would probably know him/her??
 
Does anyone know if Meca is still open as a livery? If so does anyone know their number so I can give them a ring? Im looking for livery in the area.
