He's an ex News of the World Journalist who according to the news this morning had had problems with drink and drugs??????????

The Sun website was hacked last night, probably by Lulsecz (Lulzsec? I don't know!) to say that Rupert Murdoch had been found dead. He has not (AFAIK!). However, the original whistleblowing journalist has been found dead, although the police say there are no suspicious circumstances and as Andalusionlover says, he did allegedly have drink/drugs problems.

Yes indeed and medical experts are still arguing that the suicide verdict was unsafe there.
