Can anyone remember their horses recovery/rehab plan after having their neck medicated?

My horse is being medicated today under ultrasound, will follow vets advice but wondered what others were advised.

🙏🤞

I was told to do 6 weeks active rehab, (3 in-hand/3 ridden, lots of canter and poles and long/low work). Then vet check, then reintroduce jumping and crack on ‘as normal’. I’m at the ‘crack on as normal’ phase now. It’s all been fine so far.

I suspect that might have been necessary because Lottie was sore in the back and neck AE? A friend of mine had a horse whose neck arthritis at C5 was catching the nerve only intermittently and she was injected and told to carry on as normal.

Pleased it’s going well AE!

Thank you. The vet today advised a couple of days off and then carry on as normal, but will give her a quiet week of hacking.
