Medium 63??

I have rather foolishly decided to have a bash at this test on sat..
Is 2001 the most recent version- i have a old pack of tests and havent updated them for a while and this is the most recent copy i have.
Also, what are the judges looking for in a walk quarter pirouette?

I would expect the judges to be looking for a forward movement, not getting stuck, it not being too big, and with the correct flexion. I that what you meant?

North manchester, usually do eventing not dressage but thought i'd have a go anyway. Not sure we're quite ready for it but theres only ever about 3 people in it!
how big should it be then? not something i've ever done in my lessons before..

Not too big - basically straight shoulder and pivot on back feet - most horses pick it up well - good luck, you're braver than me!

Yes as TOG says, nice clear rhythm and forwardness. Not getting stuck or twisting the feet. Bigger isnt too bad if the quality is better.

if its the medium i think it is (short arena?) then its nice and was the first medium I did on Dan! If we could fluff through and get over 60% sure you can

Hes not a dressage horse really but very trainable!

actually you dont 'pivot' on the back feet - the back feet should 'mark time'

yeah, we were making a small circle with the back feet and a bigger one with the front. is that right?
