medium length ford transit van can it legally tow a 505 with a 15.3hh?

Can a ford transit new shape van ,larger shortwheel base legally tow a ifor 505 with a 15.2/3hh in ? Will it legally be safe to do so ?I have borrowed it to tow trailer to new yard empty as nothing suitable to tow it with.Can i have your thoughts please ?

yes just !!. but be carefull if the van itself is loaded because some dont have a very big train weight ( thats every thing together van + load+ trailer) If its a 260 /280 then they are only 3500kg total train weight and the empty van is 1800kg,.. the bigger 300/350s are not much heavier but have more capacity about 5000 kgs train weight..
