I have a 14hh Welsh sec. D mare and I would really like a new rug for her preferably a medium weight that has a neck attached

Please could you tell me which are the best ones!

Thanks :)

my current medium is a JHL one but it's neck falls down and it's a bit tight across my connies chest. Her heavyweight is an amigo and i'll be looking to replace her current medium with an amigo as well. Although the neck is detachable it has an extra bit so no gap and I'm converted!

or if your horse is good and no rug rippers in the field the 600d version is cheaper

In my humble opinion..... nothing beats a rambo wug. Yes couple o' hundred pounds but 6 years in and still warm, not a mark on it.

I've got a medium/light (180g) Saxon 600D on my TBX - he's built like a cob lol - it's really good, plenty of room for his mahoosive shoulders but doesn't drown him even though he's a 15.1hh midget :) his previous turnout was a Saxon as well, lasted a good 5/6 years with no need for repairs or reproofing.

Only problem is, it's bright pink :D not that he seems to mind.

ETA: if she's clipped it probably won't be heavy enough.

I've recently bought a rhino mediumweight with neck for my cob, Can't tell you how it is though as it hasn't come out of the bag yet! He's clipped but definitely not in need of that weight at the mo. So its still all shiney and new:D
My last horse had this rug too, he was a tbxshire and never had any problems with it, plenty of room for his shoulders and, even after his best efforts, he still couldn't rip it, loved it!:p

Toffee had her Saxon MW 600d for about three years now chunks of it are missing but the bits that arent missing are still waterproof, I am using it as my spare. However I am another vote of horsewear Rhino I love it love it love it.
