meds causing sweatiness??

Hi again.

My 22 year old TB's on Bute and Trimediazine Plain for Cellulitis, this morning he's quite sweaty under his rug. He's not over rugged, I was wondering if it would be the meds causing this? His temp was raised yesterday when the vet took it and he said the antibiotics would sort it, so is it infection leaving the body?

I'm leaning towards calling the vet again, what do you think?

When my mare had pneumonia, the vet gave her penicillin and 15 minutes later she was literally steaming. The vet said it was the bugs dying. Quarter of an hour after that she gobbled up someone else's haynet (whoops) which was the first thing she had eaten for at least 2 days so she obviously felt alot better.
It was VERY warm last night though.
