Well what can I say.... we went to meet Amelia today.... and subject to home check she is coming to us next Saturday :) :) :) :)

She is an absolute little sweetheart - mad as a brush, she leaps up and covers you with kisses just like my Amy greyhound, she has little idea how to walk on the lead yet, but she is a very very happy little dog and I fell in love with her smiley little face, her wagging tail and her love for everyone :)

She is believed to be about 12 - 18 months old and was picked up as a stray in Leominster, how anyone could abandon such a happy little dog is beyond me, and she was lovely with my gang - who totally ignored her :D Obviously I am going to have to be very careful with the usual potential flash points as Amelia loves her toys, but I cannot wait to bring her home :)

Thank you so much Blanche for giving me the link that let me find her :)

What a lovely little whiskery face :) Your gang look completely unfazed indeed at the prospect of a newcomer. You'll fly the home check, roll on next weekend, one lucky little dog x

OMG Lev, she's gorgeous :):) i love brindles! i'm so happy for you and a little jealous , i miss my Loki so much and can't wait til September and puppy mayhem!. The breeder has offered me pick of the litter which is nice of him. Amelia will be a lucky dog and a fab addition to your gang. xxxxxxxxxxxx

Oh I AM surprised. Not. Knew that would happen when I saw the first photo :D

She's lovely!

What a gorgeous girl and she fits in so well with the current pack. I am sure you will pass the homecheck with flying colours and Amelia will soon have her paws up on your sofa. Brilliant :)

Thanks all :) No surprise for me at all as you have quite rightly said :D but I was concerned that the existing 3 might find her too bouncy and enthusiastic - the Small White Greyhound can be a nasty little horror when she wants to be and was very good at picking fights when she was younger (although she always lost) As it is, Amelia reminds me so much of Amy greyhound when I got her from Cayla :D :D

Great result Levrier, well done for sticking to the task even after a few silly rules. I am glad you got some help to find her but your tenacity won the day.
She looks perfect to fit in with your gang. I am surprised you have to be home checked, couldn't they see your other dogs were in the perfect home?!

Amelia is beautiful, I do love a brindle and whippets always look so..special... :D. Hope it all goes well and she comes home with you next week xx

Not sure when the home check will be, they said they would arrange it ASAP - this week some time though! I can't wait :)

Thank you all for your lovely comments, I will no doubt be boring you all with loads of pics when she arrives :D
