He stands about 15.2hh, he's of unknown breeding and age but his origin is France.
He is very well mannered and easy. He has a fab trot and canter!! His movement isnt like the British simulators, he has more sideways flexibility so you can ride him on either canter leads by being clever with your movement- you can even do flying changes!

My sister will teach on him- anything from beginners who lack confidence (or who we couldnt normally cater for as we dont have suitable horses) right the way up through the levels to more advanced riders. He will soon be moved into a proper stable with mats and there will be mirrors on each wall so that you can see both sides and the front view.

I had a 15 min lesson on him this afternoon and it was fantastic. It's amazingly good for your position, straightness and balance. I'm in love!!

Btw we're in Wiltshire....

He looks like a friendly kind of chap - can I have a block booking for me, daughter and husband - not all at the same time though!

Oh, Lancelot is strong- he could take all 3 if you wanted!!

It's seriously fantastic, I havent ever ridden the British simulators but I suspect that Lancelot, combined with my sister's skill for using him in the right way will be a very handy tool to anybody, no matter how experienced.

I've ridden on one of those! They are so comfortable, and really useful for position while you don't need to worry about what the horse is doing! I loved it!

I do like my simulators

That one at Badders last year was EVIL, talk about well schooled and "find the right button", I kept crashing into the judges box in the dressage arena LMAO!!!

Boss I DEFFO want to come and have a sesh then maybe your sis can sort out why I go left once and for all!

I'm going to organise a training day (maybe weekend) some time in July or August and will put up details here as I think it could be a good opportunity to provide some cheap training with my sister and my dressage trainer.
It'd likely be sessions on Lancelot with my sister, a theory talk with my dressage trainer and then lessons on your own horse or one of ours with either/both.

Genius I am SO up for that!! What a fantabulous idea Boss! In fact Berlin's owner would be up for that too, and we could bring Berlin over (unless I have one of my own by then)

I shall plan it all then tell her. You know what she's like!

I finally convinced her Shala is 3 not 4, it took a bit of effort but she's now going to be turned away for a bit. Phew!

LMAO was she really that convinced?! She told M that Lugs had Shala, then two dead babies, so she must be a 3yo (this was last year)... we tried to tell her that her maths was out because that would make Shala 2yo, but she wouldn't listen! I would have told her to check her passport but I thought it may have been taken as me being rude...

Funny because she has always had a fabulous memory for the little details, and big things like how old your home-bred horse is are the things that slip her mind! So I'd agree with the "plan it and tell her later" idea
