Hello

I have been on this forum quite a bit but thought I would introduce myself and my horses. Love reading everyones posts and pics of their fab horses/ponies too and some are very helpful as I have only been riding recently for two years so am still quite novice.

First is Monique, 18 yr old KWPN mare - my first horse who has taught me everything I know absolute superstar.

And Keira, who is my new addition 9 yr old TB, also a brilliant mare and is extremely laid back. She is underweight as had bad winter so just feeding her up and working together slowly.

Sorry if pics are massive...

Also if any anyone has any handy tips for TB and weight gain please?

Thanks

What gorgeous girls you have! Sorry no advice on the feeding up, I have the opposite problem just now! Just wanted to say hello :)

thank you, i think there gorgeous too but im biased lol will have a look at pure feeds and linseed oil thank you

mmm I dont think so Jackson...unless ive already done this and forgot lol :o which is possible as Im slighty blonde...

Lovely girls(&i have a KWPN too,so am biased;) ) In the first pic,I thought you had a ferret on your shoulder for a second! Then I realised it was your coat hood! Oops;)

They are gorgeous girlies indeed. Made me laugh actually as we have an 18 year old KWPN and a new tb who was underweight as had a rough winter... Rather a coincidence! Your two are lovely though! Beautiful horses.

Our new tb has gone from this...

The photos before don't really show how bad she was, she really was skin and bones with every single rib jutting out! She has calm and condition, hi if original chaff with about 300ml of soya oil a day split into 3/4 smaller meals... Done wonders for her in a short time! Good luck with your tb girlie!

Immy xx
