V pretty face - looks a bit like my TB, but he seems built much more uphill than her fortunately.
Good luck with him!
(why Mustard BTW???)

Thanks
His racing name is Mustard Benn, it was a toss up between Mustard and Benn and we've had a Ben before so Mustard it is!!

Lovely!! Bless his heart, he really is a failed racehorse! Not dissimilar to Dad, if photos are anything to go by.

Yes- though it did make me more comfortable taking him on as I know it wasnt a glittering career cut short due to injury

LOL - If he'd had one of those, he'd prob still be entire and at stud....... Makes you wonder about the TB breeding industry....... At least he finished his races - my sisters failed racehorse started twice, but never finished

They cut him at 3- presumably when he failed to show any speed at home!
Odd really as his dam by all accounts was a decent horse. His two half brothers were total failures too
My old welshie is called Ben (so I love the name).
Also much less daft to call "Ben" across the field, than "Mustard".
What was he called in the racing yard?
