After posting so many horse hunting advice threads on here, and getting so many helpful responses, I thought it only polite to introduce you to the horse I ended up buying - meet Rua!
She is a 16.1, 5yo Irish Draught. As you can see, i'm bad at taking photos (and like to shut my eyes in others' photos, apparently!), but will try to get better ones in time.
I have had her just over 2 weeks now. She was initially very stressed about moving, and I did have a few days of 'omg what have I done', as she grows about a hand and is pretty scary when panicking, but with huge thanks to the lovely and supportive people at the yard, we've got through it so far, and she's improving all the time with ground manners, which I hope will continue over the months/years as we keep working on it and she gets more comfortable where she is.
Very excited to keep getting to know her better.
