Meet my new pony Toby
He is 14.1hh, 7yo - has done a bit of everything, inc WH, SJ, Hunter Trials, hunting etc and is well schooled. I'm hoping to do a bit of everything with him too, some low level RC stuff, he will teach me how to jump (he is so steady and honest), fun rides, beach rides, hopefully hunting
and I might even go mad and do a walk and trot test
I hacked him yesterday for the first time, my friend rode Chumley who is great with younger horses, Toby was fab, didn't put a foot wrong, very proud of both of my boys.
Pics of of him on his first evening at home and he was soon settled in. I've since turned him out with Chumley and my two mini shetlands and *fingers crossed* no incidents though my old pony is still giving him the cold shoulder
Please excuse my tired look, I had forgot how stressful this horse buying and 'getting to know you' malarky is - I feel happy but shattered
Toby and Me
And a picture of my 'old' boy Chumley - still my No.1
