Mega Dandruff - solutions??

Since I've started rugging the boy as the weather's cooled down a bit he's developed dandruff - great big flakes of it!!

I don't really want to wash his mane if I can avoid it because it's a bit cool for it if it can be avoided! Anybody have any suggestions for how to combat the mega dandruff!!!??

Pick a nice day and use head and shoulders !

wash thoroughly in some sort of medicated shampoo (i like vosene or head and shoulders or animal stock shampoo) make sure you rinse wel, and rinse again! and again!!! its 12 degrees her in the midlands tonight, not cold!!!! wash away......

The rug will be holding the dead flakes of skin in his fur.

If you can wash with a teatree shampoo or similar do. Alternatively use a rubber curry comb and literally back comb the fur and then brush with a body brush.

Start adding some oil to this feed, or micronised Linseed. Works wonders for the skin.
