Melanomas

Hi there

my 17 year old has a few melanomas under his tail but i noticed the other day a very crusty lump which came away and was oozing black liquid, not smelly at all and looked to me like a melanoma that has come away.... has anyone else had any experience of anything like this?

My old mare had a melanoma which did this periodically, keep an eye on it, if it gets smelly then get vet asap.

is he grey coz greys are prone to them call your vet for advice my friends horse had one and the vet give her some cream that bunt them away it is not painfull fo your horse!
