Hi I'm thinking about getting members tickets for badminton this year, they are obviously on top of the already steep ticket prices...for XC day so its already £43 just for that plus parking ? is it worth the extra money? We have older kids with us so thought it might he fun to have lunch or something there too. Any experiences welcome! Thanks

We use the members as it is undercover seating with TVs if you fancy a break from the walking plus better loos with smaller queues. You can also grab a chair and watch the main ring activities. I wouldn’t recommend it for eating in the snack part (expensive and not great choices or quality) and have never eaten in the restaurant bit so have no idea what that is like. It doesn’t get too busy so is great for a meeting point. We’ve always found the best eating is by the World of Food and Drink.

I’ve used it xc day when grooming just to hide away!
In all honesty I don’t think it’s worth paying for, especially if you are going for xc. Better if going for dressage day

The loos are worth it but the sit down lunches are mass catered food in a tent presented as good restaurant quality at expensive prices.

If you fancy having somewhere to go when it's pouring out on the course you could consider it - but on XC day when it's pouring a lot of other people have the same idea and it's totally overcrowded.

If you can manage with normal portaloos then it's not worth the money.

Ok we've decided not to bother! To be honest we usually spend most of the day either walking the course or shopping so will spend the extra we would have spent on better food options elsewhere! Thanks!

Are you an EHOA member? I haven't been to Badminton for a while so not sure if they still do a tent there, but they have one at Burghley still, which I used to use a lot. Right by the XC start and a good base/place to get breakfast etc.
