memories

What a lovely, intelligent face he had. Of course you still miss him hun. The 1st full anniversary will be hard too. But it sounds as if he was very much loved so maybe light him a virtual candle in Hoofbeats-In-Heaven and maybe quietly read Rainbow Bridge again to yourself. Can't remember which book it was but I read the most incredibly moving true story about a mare who died foaling. Then the little orphan foal died a few days afterwards. The author said that she knew that when her beloved mare's spirit cantered round the field, she knew that the spirit of her little foal ran forever at her mother's side. Makes me weep just writing it. Remember your boy as he was, running forever round his home fields xxx

What a beautiful boy he was. I'm sorry for your loss. Losing them is just the hardest thing isn't it?

At least you gave him a lovely, caring home. He lived to a grand old age
