At approximatley 12.00am 21st nov two men were seen hiding in bushes near our field whistling was heard as if a warning was being given, 4 of us went to have a look around the area and although to start with we found nothing, at around 1am we found a man shining a torch in another one of our fields, when we asked him what he was doing he came out with the old story of looking for rabbits. The man had a irish accent and was in a dark track suit with some kind of reflective stripe on the back and was around 25 years old. The area was the rock in telford, very near where a coloured youndster was stolen. Last week a black 4x4 was spotted hanging around same area.

Yes i reported it and got an incident number but i stayed for another hour and saw no police so i suppose the incident number is all i have to stop thieves. It was a friday night so they were all proberly in town dealing with idiots coming out of pubs.

The problem in moving them is all our fields are in the same area we pay a fortune on yearly rent. So we are checking them and hanging around field in the middle of the night till 4am and checking them all the time in the day as the field is only a 5 min walk from where we live. Hence to say we are knackered i start work at 6am but the field is next door to where i work so at least i get to see them then too.

It,s a bridleway so you cannot drive down there, i can drive down because i have the key to the security get it is in a quiet area and we have a travellers site nearby. I have not seen anything strange in the day time at all and the dog walkers all have my number just incase.
Its very dark over there in the night as there are no lights any where near, hopefully because we have been going very regular in the middle of the night whoever it was as i have said before i don,t know what they intended to do.

Maybe youve frightened them off for now,but Im sure they will be back,so be on guard. Id put a small tent up where they can see it,then they might think somone is there or put a dog inside lol

ps it was a travellers horse that was stolen from that area in august .i have travellers staying close to my field and im always at ease when they stay as it stops the local yobs kicking in the fenceing to chase the horses out and the local idiots who like to scare the horses .all the residents on that site have lived there for many years and not all of them are gypsys
