Just wondering if there are any yards with all men on or predominantly men ? Where do all the male showjumpers, jockeys etc come from,do they all have their own land. I think in the past 10 years we have only had two men on our yard.

Dont know but if you find one in the West Midlands of Staffordshire boarder let me know, ive had my fill of pmt females, ill mannered kids - but nice horses - and all the crap that goes with too many women in the same place, all looking at playing at one ups

Tongue in cheek I hope?! we aren't all like that! tbh - I wouldn't stay on a yard that had women on like that! I like my fellow liveries - can get a little bawdy in the "right" company but all good fun...

I don't think there are many men 'amateur'/fun/happy hacker riders compared with women, but seems to be as many/more professionals. Not sure where they come from though!

25% of owners are men on my current yard and previous 60 horse yard had about 10%. They are out there. You can always spot a male owner by the tatty rugs and saddle pads and lack of 'matchy matchy'.

We've got quite a few on our yard (comp & hunting yard) and most of them aren't even gay. I think ours works as its really relaxed and sociable, so the blokes can all be blokey together and have a beer while they do the horses. Even better when they bring their fit non horsey friends down 
We all tend to go out as a big group which is great. I don't think most happy hacking yards have many men about though and I've generally found the more anal the yard the less the men. A yard full of pristine shavings bed with hundreds of rugs in every stable does not bode well for male territory.
