menage levellers .....

Hi guys

i need to get or make a menage leveller ... any ideas its for a wood chip school
Ive looked everywhere and there so expensive Ive got a tractor and a buggy
what do you use ?

My arena is sand, I use a square that my OH made out of 1inch box section! It has a bit out at the side to drag the edge in. Works a treat! Just make a square frame and put an angle across one corner. If you need to I can get a photo tomorrow.

We use an old metal gate attached to the back of a tractor or 4x4

My friend has a wood chip surface and she uses a small lightweight chain harrow that you can drag behind a Quad bike as anything heavier or bigger used to break down the woodchip into dust...... expensive mistake, I suggest you don't use an old metal gate as that is what I use for my fibre sand surface and it is verrrrry heavy to lift so would probably also ruin your surface.
