As per the title what surface do you think is best and why?

For outdoors-
silica sand, fibre & rubber crumb (not strips)
we used combi-ride on ours and its fab- because the rubber is in individual crumbs we were able to use it all the way through the winter even when it was freezing.
Its nice and springy and shock absorbing and all the horses seem to like being ridden on it. After heavy jumping and riding the corners and in front of and behind jumps seem to get ather deep but it is doubtlessly much better than just sand would be and as soon as its graded its back to new again.
